Massachusetts School of Law in Andover Opens Campus for November 11th Open House
Andover, Massachusetts – The Massachusetts School of Law is inviting prospective students to visit its campus during an evening Open House on Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2026, at 6:30 p.m., as part of an effort to give applicants a closer look at legal education outside the traditional mold.
The event will be held at the school’s campus at 500 Federal St. in Andover. Prospective students are encouraged to attend before or in conjunction with beginning the application process, allowing them to meet faculty, current students, and admissions staff and to see classes and facilities firsthand.
Administrators say the Open House is designed to answer questions that often arise for applicants considering law school at a time of shifting expectations in the legal profession. Visitors will have an opportunity to learn how the school structures its curriculum, what kinds of careers its graduates pursue and how it approaches the cost of legal education.
According to the school, its admissions process operates on a rolling basis and does not require the Law School Admission Test, or LSAT. Representatives say that by evaluating candidates through academic records, writing samples, interviews and other measures, the school seeks to open its doors to applicants whose strengths may not be captured by a single standardized test.
The law school also points to the cost of attendance as a central issue for prospective students weighing long-term debt against career options. Massachusetts School of Law states that it offers the lowest tuition of any law school in New England, positioning itself as an option for students who want a legal education without taking on the highest levels of educational borrowing.
During the Nov. 11 program, visitors are expected to receive an overview of the school’s academic offerings, including required first-year courses and upper-level electives, as well as its clinical, internship and skills-based opportunities. Faculty and staff are slated to discuss how classroom learning is connected to real-world practice through client work, legal writing, advocacy training and experiential learning.
Prospective students will also have the chance to ask questions about bar preparation, employment outcomes and the ways in which the school measures career satisfaction among its graduates. Conversations are likely to touch on how students balance part-time work with studies, and how the school supports those who are changing careers or returning to school later in life.
The Nov. 11 event is open to all prospective students considering applying for upcoming terms under the school’s rolling admissions policy.
