Chinese Ambassador to Malaysia Ouyang Yujing Delivers Keynote Speech at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM)

On August 5, H.E. Ambassador Ouyang Yujing attended the Ambassador Global Lecture at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) and delivered a keynote speech. Present were Vice-Chancellor of UTM, Professor Ts. Dr. Mohd Shafry Mohd Rahim, foreign envoys to Malaysia, and representatives from Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia, among 200 guests.

In his speech titled “Innovation, Partnership and Shared Prosperity: China-Malaysia Community with a Shared Future in a Changing World”, Ambassador Ouyang shared about the practices in building Chinese modernisation and the achievements in developing new quality productive forces. He also explicated the cooperation opportunities brought about by China's high-quality development and looked back on the journey of China-Malaysia friendly exchanges. Ambassador Ouyang highlighted that under the strategic guidance of both countries’ leaders, China-Malaysia pragmatic cooperation in areas such as technological innovation, green development, and the digital economy continue to make solid progress, bringing tangible benefits to the people of both countries. China stands ready to work with Malaysia to deepen synergy and cooperation across various fields and jointly build a high-level strategic China-Malaysia community with a shared future.

Ambassador Ouyang said, youth are the contributors of China–Malaysia friendship. He hopes that young people from both countries will strengthen communication and mutual learning, and enhance their friendship.
